Kamut- An Egyptian wheat cultivated since 4000 BC, Kamut has rich buttery flavor and a chewy texture...Kamut can be considered a high energy grain. Kamut also contains elevated levels of vitamin E, Thiamin, Riboflavin, phosphorus, magnesium, zinc, copper, Calcium, Iron and complex carbohydrates. All around, Kamut is a very healthy grain....... 
NO STARCH!
Breakfast - Kamut Porridge
                
 Ingredients
·         1 cup of Kamut (whole grain)
·         3 cups of Spring Water
·         ½ cup of Almond Milk
·         ½ tsp of Cinnamon
·         1 tsp of Real Vanilla Extract
·         Agave nectar or Grade B Maple Syrup
·         1 Burro Banana (Rulo Banana) chopped

Directions- Place Kamut and spring water in a saucepan and bring to a boil, about 20 mins until tender. (Note: Kamut has a chewy texture when done). Pour the prepared Kamut into a blender and blend until desired texture or it resembles Oatmeal. Return contents to the saucepan; add Almond Milk, Cinnamon, Vanilla Extract, and Burro Banana. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes and serve warm (add agave to your taste). 

Tip: to reduce Kamut cooking time soak grain in cold water overnight before cooking.
